Small Planetary Alignment + Lyrids Meteor Shower

This event is special because it will be held during:

• Mercury’s greatest elongation (meaning it’s the best time to observe Mercury).
• Saturn’s ring will still be razor-thin after “disappearing” a couple weeks ago.
• Venus is only 2 days shy of its brightest phase.
• the Moon’s last quarter (meaning we can see a lot of details of the Moon’s craters).
• the peak of Lyrids and Puppids meteor showers.
• the Milkyway season.

n addition, we’ll bring our telescope so we can see Neptune sitting close to the other 3 planets.�

With those exciting celestial details, this meetup will be a memorable one!

Because we want to observe the Milkyway and planets before sunrise, this event will be held very early in the morning.
